The Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius in Daily Life
	Spiritual Exercises' is the name given to every way of preparing and making ourselves ready to get rid of all disordered affections so, that once rid of them, one might seek and find the divine will in regard to the disposition of one's life for the salvation of the soul. The Program

• 35 week retreat in daily life journeying through the full Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius

• One hour personal daily prayer using set prayer materials

• Weekly individual spiritual direction via the telephone of Skype

• Prayer materials available on this website or sent to you via post

The Graces

• Learn New and deeper methods of prayer

• Walk with Jesus more closely

• Love him more intensely

• Follow him more closely

• Use imaginative contemplation to experience the scriptures in a new way

• Learn how to better discern God’s will for your life

• Learn how to make choices which lead to a n increase of faith, hope and charity

• Experience sacred spiritual conversations with your director

The Commitment

• Spend one hour daily in personal prayer

• Willingness to discuss your prayer life, feelings, values and deep desires with your director for at least one hour every week

• Keep a journal of your prayer experiences

• Be willing to fully commit to 35 weeks of the retreat. This may require setting aside other commitments

The cost

• Suggested donation $350 or between $10 - $20 per week

• the cost of a weekly one hour phone/skype call to the director who lives in Brisbane
